If you like his movies and you wonder his life,his ambitions,what he thinks of his movies and his thoughts about life,cinema and art you should star reading this book.After reading I find some points in his life that he mentions in the book remind me of some scenes in his movies.In his childhood he used to walk in the woods and because of his father's job he used to be interested in ants and other forest animals.Maybe he used flock of bugs at the beginning of "blue velvet" and maybe the male character finds the finger while wandering in the woods buried.
