So original so fantastic story.I think I watched movie at least 15 times and still watch whenever I catch on tv.Every time I watch I take more jov.Sigourney Weaver,and her Ripley character, no person can suit perfectly this character,and she has strange beauty.She can put some character on her face that fits scifi stories not love stories.The beginning of the movie is excellent and soundtracks are excellent.Music prepares you for terror,the line forms "alien" slowly and that creepy music on the background.In space you are alone you are with few people,as though you cannot live with millions of people in a ship and if you are in a trouble,you are on your own.

And the final scenes where Ripley is alone with Jonsey the cat,Sigourney Weaver owns the movie,her face is so perfect to reflect the terror and so natural,and she looks so sexy.Not because of her body features but because of her owning the full screen

This is a masterpiece with every angles you can criticize but I should admit I ll watch this movie again.if you like scifi you are trapped.

Stanislaw Lem's Solaris

Today I was listening to Solaris in my BBC7 hour.It is so fantastic science fiction.It is a real scifi fantasy piece.While listening to radio music seizes and hypnotisez and takes you to solaris.Do you want to be somewhere all reality fades and gets lost.I made a little search on Stanislaw Lem.His books and biopgraphy.I had watched Solaris movie but this radio version is far better than movie.I did not watch Tarkovsky's version.I am gonna watch Tarkovsky's Solaris.I am gonna read the book .I am already excited about it.There is a life philosophy in the Solaris.The right question about it is whether it is a heaven or death? In his biography I saw that Lem chose science fiction to get himself out of communist limitations.A man writes scienfiction in communist world , an atheist.His books was translated into many languages and his books has effects on philosophical studies.If you watched Matrix (first movie) there is a life view behind it as Solaris has it stronger and ideologically.Pay attention to the conversation between Kelvin and Snaut in the first part.It puts a lot of questions to get you thinking yourself over them.

Changeling (2008)

I would like to say ,I like Clint Eastwood's cinema very much.Today I wachted this movie,and this movie carries his fingerprints apparantly.I love especially music on the background.Plot is very powerful,influential.You cannot imagine such a mean trap and children slaughter which is done by the hands of one kid.
But I should say how Clint Eastwood chose angelina jolie head actress for this movie.Apparantly angelina jolie cannot play the role.she is so unsuccessful.When you watch her crying,shouting,acting you ask yourself whether she really acts.
Jolie must play in lara croft or others which donot require role paying much instead just appearance.

Thank you Clint Eastwood,again.I still cannot forget the scene he throws the bottle before killing everybody in unforgiven.

I donot understand why AlPacino insists on taking police/dedective roles and playing the same type of roles.I think he didnot get bored yet.In these days I watch another teaser which shows alpacino-roberdeniro couple in the new NYPD-style movie.yes,you will not suprise,story takes place in NYPD and Alpacino is again tired,old and bad police.


In this movie they gave alpacino and asked him to manage all playing role with a mobile phone.Maybe Alpacino is no younger enough to run and catch the murderers.There is another issue which disturbes me,why Alpacino has to sleep with young women,I know his movies in which he loves middle-age woman and sleeps with her.In this way it seems more natural.

One thing pleased me very much in this movie,LeeLee Sobieski,I love watching her.She is so extraordinary ,I have a special reservation for her.She must have taken much time in this movie,without just showing her at the end of movie,

I saw the ugly face of corrupted humans..it was disgusting.by nature violence within us donot leave us alone.

In the end of movie you see that poor girl caged in that hospital.We will never know how many lives have been lost which anyone knows.burried into darkness of human history.it's pity and so pity.

Watching Mickey Rourke in this movie is disappointing .Our cool,snob guy turns to be a retired old loser.movie is excellent and artistic.there are many messages that movie puts in your pocket.A lonely man at last corners of his life jumps upon his death at the end.is he sacrificing himself for his dignity?

in the movie two lives are presented and they have similarities fundamentally.they try holding on to life.Actually Randy tries after his heart attack.This experience shows him the real face of life.Even his body leaves him alone.Randy tries having a relationship with dancer,tries seeing again his daughter.

movie looks like a documentary,while you follow camera behind Randy and you witness his despair.you see how he behaves his body.is randy paying a huge cost to live? or is this just his passion for wrestling?

while dancer slams the dor and randy wraps his cut hand, both says their real names or the names they used to be called.this is not a hollywood style.

Mickey Rourke doesnot perform much ,his face does though.this movie is better than "doubt".Sean Penn and Meryl Streep deserve Oscars.I didnot see "reader" yet.I m wondering how well Kate Winslet perform.

benhur is the first movie won the 11 academy awards till titanic win.the impressive scenes are navy wars and horse races scenes.I read history books ,I took history lessons and read history novels.while reading your imagination forces to create the scenes you read.most amazing part is the oar prisoners scene.how they operate and are instructed.in that scene after admiral realizes juda's anger and desire of revenge,admiral tests oars,there isnot dialogue except instructions of admiral.director makes you feel the tense between juda and admiral.someone instead of heston probably wouldnot make the same influence.no words only passings between juda and admiral.how much effort was done or how movie was captured I would like to see it.in the horse races scene you can see the man holding the string of horses is not exactly charlton heston.it may look very amateurish.however today I cannot imagine people to recapture this movie without any computer aid and technology.movie's duration is about 3 hours.I read heston's words in article,he says he really drives horses' warcar and tells the difficulty of the captured scenes.
movie also includes religious content beyond its artistic part.

Nice plot,very odd.You can sense spanish or mexican roots in the lunch scene,or eva mendez rol playing.At least in this movie you are suprised at the end of movie.you have chance to see the psychology of crime scene cleaner man,and his relationships with his daughter and friends.
Few knows methods are used like Samuel takes Eva to his friend's house for lunch after making typical sensational talk even though they have nothing to share in common previously.

Rope (1948)

I have watched this movie many times.In turkish,german,and original english languages.I think this was the 13th time.
This is an excellent work based on play "rope's end".In fact while watching movie you see one place,an apartment,it is like theater stage.

The wonderful scenes are close shots of players.Expressions on the faces are impressive,and it was thought to show them to audience closely and brilliantly.
Sometimes camera loses its direction,you cannot see any player on the scene,you can only see the housemaid come and go.at the same time speech flows.director shows you and points you the "grave" but you cannot save yourself off listening to conversations next to it.

Another scene Rupert comes back,by lying he forgot his cigar box,Brandon first plays with his gun in his pocket,first move and Rupert reveals gun and wins,and next Rupert makes his move,counterattack,brings out rope off his pocket,and "check mate".
it's designed like chess game,plot comes out of a unique intelligence.

Another scene,Philip Morgan bursts out shouting after his secret is revealed.At that moment camera turns back to Ruppert,and you see that gaze and expression on Rupert's face.I donot know how many times they tried to catch this look.And all suspicion begins.

During the movie you can listen to powerful,carefully selected speeches ,supported by gazes,mimics.

Final scene,if you were Rupert,how would you behave when you uncovered a murder? would you call the police? would you seize Brandon and Philip ?
Probably you would not open the window and fire few times.All act calm, accepting the result of chess game.it's an artistic end.

All the time Plot shows up one step further than the players.Plot is very influential.Plot draws back players behind.you can hear superior has privilleges to kill inferior discussion and involving nietzche and hitler into this.


I know I have written long but maybe next time I am gonna write longer than this.This kind of movie satisfies my intelligence and forces to think and make empathy.

This is the best movie of Alfred Hitchock's cinema , my favourite one.

Twilight (2008)

it's a nice romantic movie ,well-bundled in a mix of vampires and 21th century teenage culture.you donot care about vampires,or donot ask why or try to find out logical mistakes in the story.Attraction between 2 persons is told in an excellent way.When you see the eyes of them staring at each other,mimics on their faces,and the desire on their eyes you begin feeling the passion.Sometime you donot need words,you just use your mimics.

I like the character max,little lovely kid.I enjoyed watching Vera Farmiga,especially sex scene in the kitchen.She has a unique beauty.Because of her russian roots I suppose we watch some russian related connections in the movie.

I forgot how many times I watched this movie.Every time I watch this I enjoy the same taste.It has strong plot and well shot movie.Harrison Ford Dafoe and other characters make this movie wonderful.It reminds me of Kevin Costner's no way out movie some times.

Sometimes you feel like you can not explain yourself to people, or when you try you do not think they understand you and you feel alone.It is a nice story,but at the same time a nice message to civilization of human being.In case you find such a talent the first thing they do is to use this person for military actions,and people do not care as to use this person in order to make their lives easier,for technology,agriculture,even professor approached strangely.Think for an instant what would happen if there were a such a talented person?

Instead people try to worship him and fear him or escape him. Travolta is scientelogy follower maybe it played a big role in taking role in this movie

terrible movie I was expecting more from Vaughan and Reno.Both could have done better than this.This movie is a just commercial of a resort hotel actually an island.I d love to see this island.There are many conversations and uncessary compelling scenes and conversations.I was happy to watch Kristin Davis.

I can not say it is a perfect movie however you can watch it comfortably.If you had issues with your father,especially this is more seen between sons and fathers you will like this movie.
It is about following your own ambitions rather than what others want you to follow in your life.If you stand against everything and struggle for your ideals you will be risking to lose your family,friends and others.And it is not suprising that one of the teachers encourage and support ,not someone in the family.

Elizabeth Shue is stunning on the screen.From the first time I saw her in "coctail" with Tom Cruise I follow her movies.She looks amazing in red dress, she is so seducing in the deck chair with the bottle on top of Cage.
I liked movie's soundtracks, especially listening while Shue in charge.It is a nice story of two persons trying to hold on life and rely on each other emotionally.Their life is so ordinary and they are desperate in their pains.They find happiness while they spend time together.

To my understanding, Jackson and Judd's father were partners.Both were cops.Judd's mum was cheating with others,and Jackson was one of them.She denied Jackson and Jackson killed Judd's mum and dad.I thought at the beginning Jackson is Judd's real father and that's why Jackson supported her to promote and be around her all the time.Jackson kills men slept with Judd because as a father Jackson thinks men uses Judd's alcoholims to sleep with her.

Somehow Ashley Judd reminds me of Angelina Jolie :)
